From Tucson, a town with musical predecessors as diverse as Calexico and Machines of Loving Grace, The Mission Creeps summon a new desert sound. Miss Frankie Stein and James Arrr's chemistry boils at the center of The Mission Creeps and they continuously challenge each other intellectually and musically to craft songs that motivate people dance and yet to think as well. Mr. Furious and The Ditchrunner layer polyrhythms of percussion to drippy surf guitar and swampy booming bass. Topped with James' sexy Johnny Cash meets Elvis and Roy Orbisoin vocals, their sound is familiar yet without category, edgy and at the same time smooth.

Since their inception in 2006 The Mission Creeps have played with high profile bands such as The Horrorpops, The English Beat, The Love Me Nots,  and Deadbolt. The band's sound has been compared with The Cramps, The Doors, Bauhaus, Firewater, Deadbolt, Echo and The Bunny Men, Cop Shoot Cop, and early Kinks. Jim Waters, whose credentials include recording power couple Sonic Youth, took them under his wing for recording their first album, In Sickness and In Health.

Their live shows create an energy of their own, with go go dancers, projection, and trademark red lights. It's a scary fun time for all. Sometimes they even scare themselves.
